Apartments & Multifamily

Where the system was born.

We studied one of the most unchanged industries on the internet, found the problem, and rebuilt the apartment website around what people actually want: the individual apartment.

The center

People don't rent buildings. They rent apartments.

The one thing this industry's customer wants most. Everything we build orbits it.

The industry default position

Every apartment website is the same. It has been since 1997.

Go to the Wayback Machine and look at apartment websites from the late nineties. Then look at one built last year for $30,000. The layout changed, the fonts changed — the idea never did. Multifamily has presented apartments the same way since apartments first went online. A documented convergence, not an opinion: the industry default position, a constraint on the industry's mind.

Information mountains

Billboards, not guides.

The default website is a giant pile of information about the building. It guides no one. It informs no one about the thing they actually came for. We throw people at it and hope they find what they want. Marketing based on hope.

Backwards

Discovery starts in the form. That is the wrong place.

Because the website informs no one, the real questions start after the lead form — in the CRM, now handled by AI that throws paragraphs at people in an industry that is almost entirely visual. Photos, video, floor plans. No depth in front means no quality behind.

Seeing is clarity

In multifamily, seeing is how people decide.

The websites are so flat — the broad presentation, the model unit, nothing about the actual apartment — that people are forced to physically tour a building just to learn basic things. The single most important decision input, seeing the home you would live in, is the one thing the default website refuses to give.

So we started over

We rebuilt the apartment website around the individual apartment.

People don't rent buildings. They rent apartments. Accepting that transformed everything: the home page, every funnel, the marketing, the whole operation. Video-first and unit-level — every page exists to walk a person to the one apartment they want, and to show them everything about it.

Video-first, unit-level

Walkthroughs of real apartments, not a model and a promise. People see the home they would live in.

Every path leads to an apartment

Browsers, floor-plan pages, campaign funnels — the whole site guides toward a single, specific home.

The tour becomes the confirmation

When the website informs deeply, people arrive ready to commit. Lease-to-tour-to-application goes up.

What it means for you

We will do this for your industry too.

We took one of the most resistant industries on the planet and rebuilt its most important surface around what the customer actually wants. Finding your industry's center is the same discipline — and it is running live on real Minnesota properties today.
